Permetrol controls pyrethroid sensitive flies on horses such as

  • Buffalo Fly (Haematobia irritans exigua)
  • Stable fly (Stomoxys calcitrans)
  • Biting insects (Culicoides sp.)

and is used in the management of Queensland itch.


Dilute at the rate of 10mL/400mL of water and spray as required for fly nuisance. For QLD itch (Culicoides bite hypersensitity) spray twice weekly until symptoms abate, then as required.


Do not use on animals under 12 weeks and never on cats.


Withholding Period (Horses): Not to be used on horses intended for human consumption.
